Technology (hardware or software) we have learnt to use consists of:
The camera which is obviously needed when creating a film of some sort. We learnt how to correctly zoom in/out, put memory cards or the battery in, we leant when to put the n/r filter on (which is very rarely needed as it should only be used when very sunny). Learning how to use the camera correctly is very handy as it insures you know when things need to be in focus, need zooming in/out etc. it has also helped develop our project slightly as when we did our prelim we forgot to turn the n/r filter off which caused some scenes to look a little off.
The portable light which is very useful when creating shadows and finding the right amount of light. The portable light is very simply to use you just simply have to turn the dial to get the right amount of light you are looking for. This has helped develop our project as when doing our remake it allowed as it create shadows and get light round different angles etc.
The tripod which helps when keeping the camera steady and at the right angle when filming.Using a tripod has helped making our filming looking a little more polished and clear as there are no shaky movements from your hands.
Affect effects allows you to put music and several effects over your film. Affect effects allows you to make your film more interesting.
