 15-24 year old's

2) Which comedy film was most successful with this age group?
The Hangover part III

3) Which film was most popular with the over 50's? What genre is this film?
Quartet (UK). This genre is comedy drama.

4)Which genres were most popular with men?
Thriller, Action, Comedy

5) Which genres were most popular with women?
British films (have more of a broader variety of genres- from Frozen to Casino Royale)

6) UK films appealed most to which audience type?
Women

7) Which 3 films were most popular with the 7-14 age group? What does this tell us about their preferred genre?
One Direction: This Is Us (UK), Wreck-It Ralph, Despicable Me. This tells us that they prefer animation or a film on their favourite band.

8) Which 3 films most popular with the 35-44 age group. Why might this be and how does this contribute to animation being the most successful genre at the box office?
 Frozen, The Croods and Jack and the Giant Slayer. This might be because this age groups children want to watch that movie and they have to go with the children. This contributes to the animation being the most successful because many children and their parents went to watch the movie because it showed a different ending to Disney movies (damsel doesn't marry the male hero)

9) Which 3 films were most popular with the 25-34 age group?
Django Unchained, Fast & Furious 6, Rush

10) Which films were most popular with the middle class audience?

Top 3 in Scotland: Sunshine on Leith, Filth, Star Trek Into Darkness
