The importance of sound:

Sound is incredibly important when producing a film, it allows the audience to have a visceral experience making the movie quite an intimate experience for them allowing them to escape reality. The sound sets the scene the movie it can completely define the gene, establish the atmosphere and help give the audience some context of the storyline. Sound is literally anything we hear so if we did not have the sound the movies they would not be as enjoyable or engaging. The sound allows the audience to stay interested it grabs your attention keeping you watching the movie. Without sound movies would be very confusing and hard to follow which would not be very satisfying experience.
