From this i can tell that people prefer animated as it made the least amount of movies but still made to most profit.

UK films had a strong interest from people within the ages of 45 and above but had a popular appeal to most people within the country.
Most popular movies for people aged 7-14 year olds were Wreck it Ralph, Despicable me 2 and Monsters University meaning that children from 7 to 14 prefer animated movies.

The three most popular movies for people aged 35-44 are Frozen, The Croods and Jack the Giant Slayer. The reason why it might be mostly animated movies might be because most people this age have young children who would be interested in watching these movies as they prefer animated movies.

Rush, Captain Philips and Gravity were more popular to a C1 middle class audience Where as Oz the Great and Powerful, Fast and Furious 6 and Despicable me 2 was most popular to people to C2 middle class audiences.

Unlike Scotland, london is more appreciative to a range of movies where as Scotland tend to prefer movies set in their location and/or have characters from their local area etc.
